The public jail roster is a current census, and the locally mirrored “Last 2 Days” page reports incarcerations within its window. Neither product answers who left custody over three days. That distinction must stay clear when reviewing a weekend, holiday, or several missed daily checks.
A genuine 72-hour review is a set of person-by-person confirmations. Start with a defined start and end time. Then search historical Jail Records, compare bond and court events, and preserve any Texas VINE status result. If a record only says the person vanished from the roster, the outcome remains unresolved. Transfer, data correction, and lag are possible.
A list compiled this way should retain the booking number and the source time for each row. Those details make later checks possible when a web result changes. Sort by the actual release or movement event, not by arrest date, bond date, or the time a researcher happened to see the page. A three-day interval is useful only when each event is measured on the same basis.
The official roster is downloadable from the Wise County jail census PDF. Its timestamp is useful for a timeline, but the report has no release field and no guaranteed cadence.
Build a Wise County Release Timeline

The current roster contains useful but different fields: name, date of birth, SO number, confined time, charges, warrant number, bond or fine, and attorney when supplied. Some outcomes need careful wording. A surety, cash, or personal bond can authorize conditional pretrial release, but another hold may remain. Time served can satisfy a term or reflect jail credit. No official period was found for former bookings to remain in the public interface. Web visibility and government record retention are not the same. A person may have been cited, taken before a magistrate, or delivered to the county detention center.
